How to Download Voter ID (e-EPIC) with EPIC Number
The e-EPIC is the digital, downloadable version of your Voter ID card from the Election Commission of India. You can download it free with your EPIC number (the number on your voter ID) or your Form 6 reference number, as long as your mobile number is linked to your voter record.
How to download e-EPIC (digital voter ID)
- Go to voters.eci.gov.in and log in with your mobile number and OTP.
- Choose E-EPIC Download.
- Enter your EPIC number (or Form 6 reference number) and select your state.
- Verify with the OTP sent to the mobile number registered in your voter record.
- Download the e-EPIC PDF.
Mobile number not linked?
If the OTP isn’t sent because your mobile isn’t linked to your voter record, file Form 8 on the same portal to update your mobile number (and do the eKYC if prompted), then try again.
Don’t know your EPIC number?
Use Search in Electoral Roll on voters.eci.gov.in (search by your details, EPIC or mobile) to find your EPIC number and polling booth.

Is the e-EPIC valid for voting?
The e-EPIC is an officially issued digital voter ID, accepted as proof of identity where a voter ID is accepted. At the polling booth, carry the ID the Election Commission specifies for that election.
Is there a fee to download?
No. It’s free.
