The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the provisional JEE Main answer key along with candidates’ recorded responses after each session. You can calculate your score and challenge answers you believe are wrong, for a fee.
How to download the JEE Main answer key
- Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click the answer key challenge link for the session.
- Log in with your application number and password (or date of birth).
- View the answer key and your recorded responses side by side.
How to challenge an answer
- Select the question, choose the answer you think is correct and upload supporting documents.
- Pay the non-refundable fee per question challenged, as specified by NTA.
- Challenges are accepted only during NTA’s announced window.
Calculate your score
Use the marking scheme in the information bulletin (for example +4 for a correct and −1 for an incorrect MCQ) to estimate your raw score. The final result is declared as NTA scores (percentiles). See JEE Main percentile vs rank.
