IPL Stadium Parking Guide: Where to Park at Every Venue
Driving to an IPL match is usually the slowest way to get there. Most stadiums are in city centres where police close roads and ban parking on match days. This guide summarises where you can (and can’t) park at each major IPL venue, based on police and stadium advisories. Where a metro or train is close, it’s almost always the better choice.
Parking plans are announced before each match and can change. Check the latest traffic police advisory for your city.

Tips to avoid fines and towing
- Don’t park on the roads around the stadium. They’re usually notified as no-parking zones on match days, and vehicles are towed and fined.
- Pre-book where it’s offered (for example Show My Parking in Ahmedabad and Mullanpur). Spaces sell out for big matches.
- Leave extra time after the match. Exiting parking areas after a full-house game can take an hour or more.
- Two-wheelers usually have separate parking areas. Follow the police signs on the day.

Is there parking at Wankhede Stadium?
No. There’s no public parking at Wankhede, so take a local train to Churchgate or Marine Lines.
Can I book IPL parking in advance?
At some venues, yes. For example, Narendra Modi Stadium and Mullanpur have used the Show My Parking app. At most city-centre stadiums, public parking is limited to police-designated grounds.
