Easy Guide India

How we research and check our guides

Easy Guide India publishes match-day guides for Indian cricket grounds and plain-language explainers on IPL rules, railways, banking and documents. This page explains how a guide gets from draft to published, and where its limits are.

How guides are written

Drafts are prepared with AI tools. Before a page is published, and again at each update, its facts are checked against the sources listed below. A figure we cannot confirm is either removed or worded as “commonly”, “reported” or “in earlier seasons”.

What we check against

  • Official pages from teams, boards, grounds and government bodies, where they are reachable.
  • Police and traffic advisories, as reported by established news outlets.
  • Recent reporting from established news outlets for fees, deadlines and rule changes.
  • For fares, fees and tax rules, the notice of the body that issues them, where we can find it.

What we do not claim

  • There is no single official list of banned items for every IPL ground, so our lists show what has appeared in police and club notices in recent seasons.
  • We do not say a rule applies to IPL 2027 until a notice for that season is published. Pages built from IPL 2026 notices say so.
  • Parking, road closures and gate times change from match to match. Treat our guides as a starting point and confirm on your ticket and the notice for your match.

When pages change

The quick-answers panel on a ground guide shows the month it was last checked. Before IPL 2027 we re-check each ground guide against the team’s match-day notices, and we update the IPL 2027 stadium guide as the schedule and venues are confirmed.

Report a mistake

If you find a wrong fact, a broken link or an outdated rule, tell us through the contact page. Include the page address and, if you can, a link to the notice that shows the correct detail. We correct confirmed errors and update the “last checked” date.
