How to get to SoFi Stadium by public transport
There is no rail station right at the stadium, so public transport means a train plus a short shuttle. According to SoFi Stadium’s transportation page, these are the main options:
- LA Metro C or K Line + free shuttle: ride to LAX/Metro Transit Center Station. On game days, Metro runs a shuttle from Bus Bay 8 to the stadium. After NFL games, return shuttles start in the 4th quarter and run for about 90 minutes after the final whistle.
- GTrans Line 7X: on Sundays, runs from Harbor Gateway Transit Center, where you can park for free. A round trip costs $4.
- Torrance Transit: event service for about $4 round trip.
- Culver CityBus Line 99 Express: about $2 round trip.
Shuttle and bus services are event-specific, especially for concerts. Check LA Metro’s SoFi Stadium page for your date.
SoFi Stadium parking
- Buy a parking pass in advance. Every car needs a pass, and cars without one are turned away. Passes are sold through ParkWhiz, and prices are higher on the day.
- Colour-coded zones: parking is split into colour zones (Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Yellow and others). Your pass tells you which zone and lot to use, so follow the signs for your colour.
- Opening times: lots usually open 4–5 hours before NFL kickoff and 3–4 hours before concerts, and close about an hour after the event ends.
- Accessible parking: every zone has ADA spaces, first come, first served. You need a valid ADA placard and a parking pass.
Uber, Lyft and taxi drop-off and pick-up
- Drop-off: the northbound curb lane on Kareem Court. Drivers reach Kareem Court from westbound Pincay Drive.
- Pick-up: at Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard.
After a sold-out event, rideshare prices surge and pick-up queues can be long. Walking a few blocks away before booking, or waiting 30–45 minutes, is often faster.
SoFi Stadium bag policy
- Allowed: clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags, backpacks and fanny packs up to 12″ × 6″ × 12″. They must be fully clear, with no tint, patterns or stickers.
- Not allowed: regular backpacks, large purses, camera bags and any non-clear bag bigger than the permitted size.
- Bag valet: offered at select events for a fee. Otherwise you’ll need to take a non-compliant bag back to your car.
