PM Kisan Status Check: Payment Status, eKYC & Missing Instalment Fixes
Under PM-KISAN (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi), eligible farmer families get ₹6,000 a year, paid in three instalments of ₹2,000 directly into their bank account. You can check whether your instalments have been paid, and why one might be stuck, on the official PM-Kisan website using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number or registration number.
How to check PM Kisan beneficiary status
- Go to pmkisan.gov.in.
- In the Farmers Corner, click Know Your Status.
- Enter your registration number. If you don’t know it, click Know your registration number and find it with your mobile or Aadhaar number.
- Enter the captcha and the OTP sent to your registered mobile.
- You’ll see your details, eKYC status, land seeding, Aadhaar–bank seeding, and every instalment with its payment status.
What to check if an instalment is missing

How to complete PM Kisan eKYC
- OTP eKYC: on pmkisan.gov.in, under Farmers Corner, choose eKYC and verify with your Aadhaar-linked mobile.
- Face authentication: using the official PM-KISAN mobile app.
- Biometric eKYC: at a Common Service Centre (CSC).
When is the next PM Kisan instalment?
Instalments are paid roughly every four months. The government announces each release date officially, usually a few days in advance. Check pmkisan.gov.in or official announcements, and ignore social media messages asking you to “register” or pay a fee.
