How to Order Aadhaar PVC Card Online (₹75 Fee)
The Aadhaar PVC card is a durable, wallet-size plastic card with a QR code, hologram and your photo, printed by UIDAI and sent to your address by Speed Post. You can order it online for ₹75 (revised from ₹50 in January 2026), even if your mobile number isn’t registered with Aadhaar.

How to order the Aadhaar PVC card
- Go to myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in and choose Order Aadhaar PVC Card.
- Enter your Aadhaar number, VID or EID, and the captcha.
- Request the OTP. If your mobile isn’t registered with Aadhaar, tick the option for a non-registered / alternate mobile number and enter that number.
- Enter the OTP. With a registered mobile, you’ll see a preview of the details that will be printed.
- Pay ₹75 online.
- Save the SRN (Service Request Number) and payment receipt. You’ll get an SMS once it’s dispatched, with a Speed Post tracking number.
Important things to know
- The card is printed with the details currently in your Aadhaar. If your address or photo is wrong, update it first, wait for approval, then order.
- It’s delivered to the address in your Aadhaar record, not to a different address.
- Only order from the official myAadhaar portal or Aadhaar app. Plastic “Aadhaar cards” printed by private shops aren’t official.
Track your PVC card order
On myAadhaar, use Check Aadhaar PVC Card Status with your SRN. Once it’s dispatched, track it on India Post’s website using the Speed Post number in your SMS.

Can I order an Aadhaar PVC card without a registered mobile?
Yes. Choose the non-registered/alternate mobile number option and receive the OTP on any mobile number.
Is the PVC card mandatory?
No. The paper Aadhaar letter, e-Aadhaar printout and PVC card are all valid. The PVC card is just more durable.
