How to get to Emirates Old Trafford
- Metrolink tram: get off at Old Trafford stop (Altrincham line). The cricket ground is on your right as you arrive from the city centre.
- Don’t confuse it with the football stadium: Wharfside tram stop serves Manchester United’s ground, not the cricket.
- Park and ride: many Metrolink stops have free park and ride. The closest is Stretford (Edge Lane, M32 8HN).
Bags
One small bag per person, no bigger than 45 × 30 × 30 cm (18″ × 12″ × 12″), about the size of a regular backpack. All bags and picnic hampers are searched.
Food and drink
- You can bring your own food and drink, but drinks must be in plastic bottles of up to 500 ml.
