Estadio Azteca, now officially known by its sponsored name Estadio Banorte, is Mexico City’s giant football stadium in Coyoacán. It is home to Club América and the Mexico national team, and it’s the only stadium to have hosted matches at three FIFA World Cups (1970, 1986 and 2026). This guide covers what you need for any match or concert: how to get there on the Tren Ligero, parking, what you can and can’t bring, and payments.
Information below is from the stadium’s official A–Z guide. Rules can change for individual events, so check estadiobanorte.com.mx before you go.
